Feeling Icky

Carson has been sick for the past few weeks with a little cold. I took him to the dr. last week and he weighed 15. 5 pounds! O my goodness he is only 3 months old! We were already doing everything you can for a baby with a cold so he told us to just keep on doing what we are doing, and so we have. When we were at the dr. he asked me "and you're a first time mom right? Because you are much more relaxed than most of my new moms!" I just laughed and told him it probably helps I am around snotty 5 year olds all day, kids get sick it sucks but it happens. He has been such a little trooper he lets you suck out his nose and then opens his mouth really big when you put the saline (we call it tickles since it's a mist) in his nose. Hopefully this bug will leave soon, but he is still all smiles :) and loving the extra snuggles!

We have noticed that he has started doing more just in the past few weeks. He has started putting more things in his mouth, other than his hands! He loves to suck and gnaw on his bibs and burp cloths and has even managed to get a few toys in there too. He will turn to voices and sounds, and he can grasp toys and shake them, his favorite is his rattle in his car seat. He is able to raise his head longer and higher during tummy time which he is still not a big fan of, he is also scooting, pushing and rocking when he is on his tummy. He likes sitting in the bumbo, which he is pretty good at. He usually hangs out there when we get home and watches me wash bottles!
