We spent the weekend getting ready for the holidays! We started things off by buying a REAL tree, Ben has always wanted one but since we are never home for Christmas we have stuck with an artificial one in years past. This year we have the real deal since we will be home! We debated on going to a tree farm but decided this year we would just go to Lowes and maybe next year do the whole shabang since Carson would probably enjoy it more :). He loved watching us put up all the decorations, he even skipped his nap (thats a big deal, cause this kid LOVES his sleep!) He just sat in his bouncy chair and gazed at the tree and listened to the Christmas music. It was really sweet, Ben would ask Carson where to put an ornament and tell him to point, so pretty much all of Ben's favorite ornaments are in Carson's line of sight :) so cute.

I love the family picture and the real christmas tree. I think that is very special for Carson's first christmas!!!! Also I cant belive how big he has gotten since we were there.
