WOW, it so crazy to think that we have a ONE year old now! He is walking more and more everyday and yesterday for the first time he stood up by himself without pulling up on anything. He is loving this new found independence and we have A LOT of empty cubbards to prove it :) He is a very happy little guy and loves to be the center of attention and to make people laugh. He knows that he is silly and likes to play games to get you to laugh. When we go out to eat he makes a point for everyone around us to notice him in some way, he is a little flirt. He loves to read books, by himself and with assistance :) He has recently learned how to climb into the chair in the living room and he just sits and reads his books babbling to them. This weekend he had to sit with us in church since his Nursery teacher was on vacation. He was very good and spent a lot of time "reading" to himself out loud (usually during a quite time :) Definitly has a little perfectionism in him and likes to keep his toys together, he know what pieces go where and is good at helping clean up. He also wants things to go his way and gets frustrated when he can't make things work. This little guy is an eater, he loves bananas, peas, cheerios, sweet potatoes, fish, chicken and yogurt. He is still getting mostly organic and natural food which means I pack his breakfast and lunch everyday for school. If there is food around he can spot it and you better be ready to share :) He usually eats all of his food and some of ours! Some words include, mama, dada, kitty, bye (with a very southern draw), and pup. He likes to wave and clap and when he really wants something he puts his hand out and tilts his head to the side :) We are very lucky to have such an amazing little TODDLER :)
