8 Month Facts
You are trying so hard to crawl, you are able to get up on all fours and can move your knees a few times before landing back on your tummy, but when there is something you want you are able to reach your destination even if you do look like an inchworm :)
Say, "ma-ma, da-da, and na-na" which is your version of a very strong NO, usually complete with head shaking!
Know what you want and do not want and express your opinions
Can go from a lying position to a sitting position, but if you are tired you will fuss until someone sits you up
Love to investigate, you like to see how things work just like your daddy. When you have a toy that talks you turn it around and around in your lap with a very inquisitive and determined look, so cute.
You have a sense of humor and laugh at things you think are funny
Blow raspberries, and you are very good at it
You have 2 bottom teeth!
Imitate people, especially Gigi :)
Give EVERYONE the "stink face" It is very funny and people always laugh and then you laugh back at them!
Make smacking sounds with your lips it is kind of like you are blowing kisses, and sometimes you do it after you take a bite of something, usually something you like.
Like to stand up, you have pulled up on a few things and can stand while holding on to something, until you see something you want and come crashing down!
You are great with other people, and like, I mean LOVE when you are the center of attention
You Love
To eat and are getting very good at picking things up and putting them in your mouth
PAPER of any sort and if it is on the floor you WILL get to it even if you have to crawl over the wall of toys mommy tried to block you in with and her legs :)
To try and drink out of cups, you take a few drinks and usually have a wet shirt in the end!
Water bottles, if they are full you will drink out of them, if they are empty you LOVE to squish them!

To be held
When people sing, even Gigi ;)
Animals, you get very excited and want to give them lots of love and kisses, still working on "Gentle"
To be outside, if you are fussy we can just open the door and your whole demeanor changes
To talk, and when you wake up you say "mama, dada" until someone comes to get you (and if we take too long to get there you say them VERY loudly ;)!

You DO NOT like
The lake :( you went for the first time while we were in Missouri and you loved being on the boat, but the second we brought you into the water you screamed! We think it was a combination of the cool water and life vest.
When mommy comes into the room and does not immediately come to you, you can be perfectly content, but the second I enter the room you act like it's all over (you know how to work your ma-ma)
Teething, neither do mommy and daddy
You are growing up so fast, and I can not believe I am already thinking about your first birthday, it makes me teary just thinking of it. You are such an amazing little boy with a wonderful personality and we love you so MUCH!
