2 Weeks

Carson, I can't believe that you are already 2 weeks old! We are so blessed, you really are a great baby!
You love to;
be held and cuddle
be in your "newborn lounger"(in fact most of your pictures are taken in your lounger)
SLEEP!
take baths
be swaddled
talk
watch sports with daddy
go for car rides
poop after you have had your diaper changed :)
explore your hands, we often call you Houdini because no matter what we do you can manage to find your hands!
"help" do everything with your hands (nurse, change diapers, hold your pacifier, even at the dr you tried to help)

You do NOT like;
to burp
or be woken up, even if it's to eat (you take a little bit of convincing!)
to have gas :( sometimes this makes it hard for you to eat

Weight: 7lbs 9.5 oz
Length: 21 1/2 inches
Head: 36 cm (baby big head ;)

Overall you are a pretty laid back baby, you love to just hang out!

GiGi does not like when you have the hiccups, but you don't seem to mind. It is pretty funny you never just get the hiccups, they come with many other bodily functions (coughing, yawning, farting)

You went to the dr. today for your 2 week appointment. You are not quite back to birth weight, but dr. Mcghee was not worried. You grew an inch and a half! Compared to your weight and length you have a big head :) Dr. Mcghee also made the comment that you would definitly do some growing in order to keep up with your big feet and hands! We will continue using gas medicine to try and help your little tummy and nursing has improved since we got our "My breast friend" This has been a lifesaver despite it's silly name. We had a hard time in the beginning and although your poor tummy hurts sometimes we have made great strides! You usually get about 1 bottle of breast milk a day, usually if we are out or if mommy needs sleep! You are also using a pacifier sometimes, mostly to help calm and soothe so you don't suck in air. You will suck on it as long as you need and then spit it out. You had to get your Hep B shot today and you were a real champ, definitly didn't get it from your mama (although I have gotten much better!). You cried for a split second and then you were over it. We love you so much and can't believe how fast you are already growing up. We cherish every moment xoxo.
